Application Criteria & Terms
The SOS Beauty Honours Programme is designed to recognise excellence and raise standards across the beauty industry. Before you apply, please read the criteria and terms below carefully.
What’s Required to Apply
To achieve Honours status, you will need to provide:
- 
Valid insurance certificate 
- 
Training certificates and qualifications (individual or staff, depending on tier) 
- 
Evidence of CPD (if applicable) 
- 
Business policies including (where relevant): - 
Health & Safety 
- 
Risk Assessment 
- 
Safeguarding (for clinics/academies) 
- 
Complaints Procedure 
- 
Infection Control & Hygiene 
 
- 
For salons/clinics – you must also submit a list of staff members you wish to have verified (up to 5 included, £10 admin fee per additional member). You will also need to show Employers Liability Insurance if applicable
For academies – you must provide awarding body approval and teaching credentials for up to 5 staff (additional £10 admin fee per extra staff member).
The 2026 SOS Beauty Honours Ceremony
We are excited to invite all approved Honours recipients to join us for the SOS Beauty Honours Celebration on Saturday 6th December 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Nottingham.
The evening will include:
- 
Red carpet arrival & video interviews 
- 
Three-course meal and entertainment 
- 
On-stage presentation of your framed, gold-embossed certificate 
- 
Networking opportunities with other leading professionals 
Each approved member will be called on stage individually to receive their recognition.
Exclusive Benefit: All who purchase tickets for the 2026 Honours Ceremony will receive a 20% discount on their 2027 Honours Renewal.
Please note tickets are on a first come first serve basis and we have a maximum capacity of 250 attendees.
Important Information
- 
Applications must be completed and verified before 31st October 2026 to be valid for the current year. 
- 
Incomplete applications cannot be rolled over into 2027. 
- 
The Honours Programme is not a rolling 12-month subscription. Your Honours status is valid from the date you register until 31st December 2026. 
- 
To remain listed for 2027, you will need to reapply and complete the process again 
- 
It is your responsibility to submit all required documents promptly 
Fees & Refunds
- 
All fees are non-refundable 
- 
Your fee covers the verification process, feedback report, digital badge, and certificate. 
- 
Trophy purchases (£75) are optional and only available once you have been approved for Honours status. 
- 
The entry fee does not include tickets for the Honours Ceremony in December 2026.
