Following unexpected health issues experienced by our founder, Faye Finaro, over the past few months, we have revised the structure of the SOS Beauty Awards for 2026 to ensure we can continue to deliver the high standards our community deserves.
 

Instead of our traditional competition format, we are proud to introduce the SOS Beauty Honours Programme – a year-round, criteria-based verification recognising excellence across Individuals, Salons, Clinics, and Academies.
 

This new programme focuses on raising industry standards rather than pitting businesses against each other. Every applicant who meets the criteria is recognised, creating a fairer and more inclusive approach to professional celebration. Participants will submit evidence such as insurance, training certificates, CPD, and policies to demonstrate compliance, professionalism, and best practice. Those who achieve Honours status will receive a digital badge, certificate and the option of a trophy to display with pride – showing clients and peers that they are operating at the highest level.

We will be bringing you our usual annual event but for 2026 we are moving it back to the 6th of December meaning we can make the ceremony a festive event. The Honours Ceremony will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham. Each Honours Member in attendance will be presented with a gold embossed framed certificate on stage as well as being able to enjoy the red carpet, a delicious 3 course meal and entertainment.
